Infinite Stratos and Kore wa Zombie Desu Ka - Two More Harem Goodies!

Ever seen these two animes? Me just finished both!

Let's talk about anime Infinite Stratos (IS in abbreviation):

Infinite Stratos (IS) main characters - Laura Bodewig, Cecilia Alcott, Houki Shononono, Fang Linyin and Charlotte Dunois (From left to right)

In the near future, a Japanese scientist engineers a powered exoskeleton called "Infinite Stratos" (IS). Possessing technology and combat capabilities far more advanced than any other weapon system, the IS threatens to destabilize the world. Faced with such an overpowering weapon, the nations of the world enact the "Alaska Treaty", which states that IS will never be used for military combat and that existing IS technology must be equally distributed to all nations, to prevent any one nation from dominating the others. The introduction of the IS does however have a major effect on society. As IS can only be operated by women, the power balance between men and women is broken, with women coming to dominate society over men.
Ten years after the first IS were introduced, the world has entered a new age of peace. The peace is shattered, however, by an unexpected discovery. A 15 years old Japanese boy, named Ichika Orimura, is discovered to be capable of operating an IS. Realizing the potential, Ichika is forced by the Japanese government to attend the prestigious Infinite Stratos Academy, an international academy where IS pilots from all over the world are trained. Thus his busy school life surrounded by girls begins. (Source from Wikipedia)

Judging from above, we can clearly see, this story IS an Harem. The main character Ichika Orimura is very prone of getting attracted by lots of girls there, including his own childhood friends - Houki and Fang. The rest  of the story is up to you to watch it.

This story is actually derived from its own novel. Try to find some of these translation in the internet. Believe me, it's hard to find one but when you found it, it'll be worth it.

Now, let's move to another harem - Kore wa Zombie Desu ka? (literally means Is This a Zombie?)

Kore wa Zombie Desu ka? characters -  (From left to right) Haruna, Seraphim, Eucliwood Hellsycthe and Mael Strom
Ayumu Aikawa is a zombie resurrected by a necromancer named Eucliwood Hellscythe after being killed by a serial killer. As he tries to make the best of his undead life, he encounters a masō-shōjo named Haruna and inadvertently takes her magic powers, being forced to become a masō-shōjo in the process. With Eucliwood, Haruna, and a vampire ninja named Seraphim living with him, Ayumu helps battle demons known as Megalos while trying to figure out the mystery behind his own death.

Unlike the story IS, this one is about magical world. The main character Ayumu Aikawa is surround by the girls from different world. They all made Ayumu a paradise mixing with hell world. Most of these girls are all tsundere behaviour and quite energetic (really?) until one of them named Seraphim (a kyuketsu ninja with bust figure) called Ayumu as "Weird Shit" (クソ虫 kuso mushi )

Trivia - Both story had their similarities:
- Youko Hikasa made her roles in both stories (Seraphim in "Kore wa Zombie Desu ka?" and Houki Shinonono in IS). Note that her characters have long hair just like Mio Akiyama in K-ON!!.

- Haruna (Kore wa Zombie Desu Ka?) and Fang Linyin (IS) are both Tsundere characters although being voiced by different seiyu. They are very jealous when their boy (Ayumu and Ichika respectively) got 'taken' by other girls.
- Notice that the stories have their anime episodes so short (Only twelve overall) although in actuality, there are more stories left untouched. Expect them to show their second season :-D

That's all folks. Thanks for reading this long stuff!

Secrets of Making Your OWN DAY

Assalamualaikum and good evening for all readers.

Recently, I had been reading an interesting book with its strange title - "Rahsia dan Kelebihan Hari Dalam Islam (Secrets and Greatness Of The Day in Terms of Islam)".

It's a very interesting book. Unlike most books, this one has very simple text and easily understood by most people who knows how to read. This book tells us very detailed information regarding the history, benefits and also what's good for that day. Not just that........ this book also tells us a lot about HOW TO MAKE YOUR DAY YOUR OWN DAY, looks nice right?

I've read this book before, and looks like I've got some good information I summarize from that book for you all :

1. Sunday - Most Ulama (Islamic Religious person) assume that Allah swt made seven layers of skies and seven layers of earth at Sunday. If you want to make something new, or trying to do something new, do it on Sunday because God made the Sky on Sunday.

2. Monday - That day, Allah made the Taiyō (Sun) and Tsuki (Moon). If you wish to travel somewhere, then Monday is the nice day to go for. May you safe from anything disastrous during that day.

3. Tuesday - Hoshi (Stars) were born. If you want to remove your dirty blood from your body, regardless from acupunture to anything that drives your dirty blood away, this is the nice day to spill them away. (p/s : In Malay, this terms of removing dirty blood is known as Berbekam)

4. Wednesday - Umi (Sea) and Kawa (River) were made. This day is very suitable to take your medicine. Why? That's because water was made that day.

5. Thursday - Ten (Heaven) and Jigoku (Hell) 'born'. That day too, God makes human wishing to enter Heaven but being fearful going to Hell. Anyone that wishes to make deeds for that day must do it that day! Why? That's because that day is very good to yield something goooooooood.

6. Friday - The Boss among the days. That day, Adam and Eve were made, and so do human next. Therefore, Friday is very important day among the Muslims.

7. Saturday - Moses's journey is related with this day. Therefore, it is a very good day to hunt for something good (NOT FOR SOMETHING BAD!)

Don't believe? Do it now, and you will see the difference. Remember folks - Reading is the only way to differentiate idiocy and intelligence. Every days affect the world. Thus, we should do something to enjoy it........ and as well as preparing ourselves for the AFTERWORLD.

さようならありがとう

Study - What for?

Lately, we have heard much about doing something to our educational system. We hear about pre-education,
we hear about pre-school centre, we hear about scrapping the UPSR and PMR and we hear about starting our children at age 5 for school! All because WE THE ADULTS WANT OUR CHILDREN TO HAVE A BETTER FUTURE, TO BE MORE COMPETITIVE IN THE WORLD.

But who speaks for our young children? Is that what they want?? I don’t remember when I was young I like to go to school?

I prefer catching spiders, fighting fishes and playing  Red Indians and cowboys. I prefer playing Gasing and watching people flying kites.

I did’nt go for Kindergarten, pre-school centre or pre-education. I cried so much the first day I was dragged to school, that was when I was SIX.

Now it is going to be 5! Is that what our young children want? Or is that what they need? Why start them so young? I believe it’s for THE PARENTS , so that they can go to work etc.. NOT FOR THE YOUNG ONES.  What they need is more “Natural” childhood, NOT more “FORMAL” schooling.

If we really want to make them more rounded, creative, happy & intelligent citizens to reach our goal of higher income individuals, WE SHOULD CUT OFF ONE YEAR OF OUR PRIMARY SCHOOLING; ONE YEAR FROM OUR SECONDARY SCHOOLING; TOTALLY DO AWAY WITH FORM SIX.  Our children will come out of secondary school at age 15, ready to go to University.

And if University is a 3 years’ course, they will graduate at 18 ready to take on the world! This is only for starter. And we can then start adjusting our curriculum.

Obviously, these are not my comments regarding school life by Billi Lim, author of Dare to Fail.

Whatever it is, it seems to make sense that we are going to school not for job, but for knowledge.........
